Children's Painting Competition
We teamed up with the Herts and Essex Observer in October 2011 to launch an Olympics themed art competition for children in the local area . . . . . and the scores are in!

Congratulations to Daisy Kershaw, Wendy Cowen and Cassius Kinuthia who won in their respective age categories. Each winner received their artwork mounted and framed by In a Frame, Sawbridgeworth
Each of the runners-up received a selection of Daler-Rowney art materials.
The overall winner also received an hours one to one art tuition with a local artist/tutor.
Entries were assessed on initial impact, artistic impression, interpretation of the subject and use of chosen medium and were judged by the editor of the Herts & Essex Observer, a local professional artist and tutor and ourselves.
After judging all entries were displayed at The Tudor House Studio and Gallery in Sawbridgeworth.
The organisers would like to thank all entrants for their interest in this competition and for the impressive range of artwork submitted. The quality of work in each age group was predominantly to a high standard and was to be commended.
